Re: New Driver causing all sorts of issues
Another issue- the preference for camera mode- object/target camera/camera seems to reset with every instance of Max that is run, defaulting back to object mode - a mode which i will never use! I cannot reproduce this: The default navigation mode for 3ds Max is 'Target Camera Mode'. Would you zip u...

Re: New Driver causing all sorts of issues
Hey guys, […]In addition, the view will jump forward and backwards randomly, though when rendered will be the correct view.[…] I am uncertain if I am seeing this issue. I have a viewport looking through a light, which will randomly switch to perspective and back again (the same seems to apply when ...

Re: New Driver causing all sorts of issues
It looks like the issues with panning are related to the near clipping plane distance.

Re: The latest driver 10.6.4 issue with 3DMouse Pro and 3ds Max
Can you send me the contents of your %localappdata%\3Dconnexion\3DxWare
In what sort of view were the up/down movements being ignored? Perspective? Target Camera? Is the issue specific to a model?
Would you please specify a test case that we can follow to reproduce the issue.

Re: New Driver causing all sorts of issues
I also had a lot of issues with the new driver with Maya. In fact, it was making models NOT display when I loaded a previous file. It was very weird. I also went back to 10.6.0 and it seems fine again. Could you please specify the issues you had and if possible supply a simply model file that illus...

Re: 3Dconnexion win32 api messages with NX
Indeed all it takes is for the NX code for the 3dmouse to check for a WM_QUIT in the message queue using PeekMessage(). One of the things you might like to try is to define your own quit message and post it to the threads message queue i.e. // If the message needs to be unique use RegisterWindowMess...

Re: Spacenavigator points all cameras and target lights to 0
Hi nufu
In the mean time could you switch on logging in the 3dxware driver, repeat the issue case and send the log to me (its %localappdata%\3dconnexion\3dxware\3dxservice.log)
Thanks
Not really: I need somehow to reproduce this.Any ideas on what to try to sort this?

Re: 3DSMAX2015 object, camera, target camera all fail
In 3DsMax plug-in manager there was no 3DXSTD.DLU, so I copied it from \Program Files\3Dconnexion\3DxWare\3DxStudio64\Contents\win64\ to \Program Files\Autodesk\3ds Max 2016\plugins At the start 3DsMax said that 3DXSTD.DLU allready loader from \programdata\.... folder but at this time 3DXSTD.DLU ap...

Re: C# / C Sharp Example
I can build csMonitor to an exe with Visual Studio 2010 and run it on my Win7 64bit system no problem and my SpaceMouse Wirelss is read correctly, BUT . . . I need it to run as a DLL for a plugin with my host application. Hi, Can you post a full sample project which displays this behavior, please. ...

Re: TDx.TDxinput.dll return invalid values
The rotation is an AngleAxis. Ther vector part of the rotation is a unit vector and will always have a length of 1. The angle of rotation about the axis is in the angle property.

Re: TDxInput in Excel VBA
Hello, Set Device1 = New TDxInput.Device End Sub I would agree with Nuno. The quoted code creates a new instance of the tdxinput for 3dxware. 3dxware only routes 3D Mouse data to a foreground app with a device instance. Invoking the subroutine creates a new device and querying it for already receiv...

It looks like the synchronization between 3ds Max and 3DxWare isn't working for some reason. What you could try is a sort of reset on the 3dxware user config data: Stop 3dxware and 3ds Max In the registry delete \HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\3Dconnexion you may want to export it first Also delete %App...

Hi Profchaos354 I would uncheck the dominant axis filter that will make the Space Pilot a lot more usable. Unfortunately, you can't explicitly get the pivot to stay at the center of an object after you have unselected that object. What you can do though is to get it to stay where maya puts it i.e. t...
