Re: Vectorworks and macOS 10.8 Driver ?

It is not just in Vectorworks,
after wake up, Space Navigator's navigation speed goes crazy in Blender too.

Probably this happens for any App.
10.8 Driver seems to ignore any App Setting's speed settings after a few Mac
sleep cycles.

Vectorworks and macOS 10.8 Driver ?

What happened with 10.8 Mac Driver Update and Vectorworks Preferences ? Again an incompatible XML update for Settings ? Original Space Navigator in that case. Vectorworks, somehow, always needed to lower the 3DConnexion driver overall speed for VW to be set to about only 20% or even lower. But when ...

Re: 3ds Max 2024 Support

I'll try to explain. Some people are impatiently hoping for a new release of Software as it may contain a certain feature or often important Bug Fixes, which will no more find its way into previous versions. With more and more available subscription only, you paid already for it, you want it. I pers...

Re: 3dConnexion / Unreal Engine / Mac

I am in the same situation and also realized that my Space Navigator does not work. I am not sure, 5.2 is a very early Preview version. I assume for UE and 3DConnexion we might need to download a plugin from UE Store (?) Which, if available and necessary, might not be available for Mac but at least ...

Re: Enterprise display always stays on?

Does the display ALWAYS stay on? 24h per day? Had these problems in the past. But currently my Enterprise is connected to the (unused) Windows11 PC. Because of on Mac Enterprise display do not show nice icons on Mac .... On the Mac I only have the old original Space Navigator attached. I always fea...

Re: Stop using spray-on rubberised finish

Great fake Carbon Finish :) Beside not looking bad, much better than a sticky surface. I personally (so far) still believe in my Silicon Spray tactic. I had not any degrading for years in my former arid environment. Even for my original first Space Navigator. But since I moved and may sometimes reac...

Re: Spacemouse driver not working in Ventura

Big Sur was a big step with lots of changes, which caused problems.
3DConnexion are still testing Ventura but have so far not found any issues.
For me it works with my old original Space Navigator.

Re: 3D Mouse not working with Cinema 4D on M1 Mac

Sorry, I did understand these Posts as Maxon is blocking and so 3DConnexion can't do much ... (?)
Can't remember having read about a collaboration.
But If you say so - OK.

Sorry for my pessimistic view.

Re: 3D Mouse not working with Cinema 4D on M1 Mac

I am pretty sure that 3DConnexion can't offer support for C4D if Maxon does not collaborate. Not impossible, but hard to imagine Maxon wants but 3DConnexion blocks any support. But for now, BOTH say they wait for the other party !? So something is wrong here. If I personally would still rely on C4D ...

Re: SpaceMouse Enterprise no Navigation Mode on Mac

Honestly I really prefer the 3DConnexion driver settings window on Mac vs Windows. Why do I need to have an App on Windows opened - just to change its 3DConnexion Settings !? I haven't evere seen any lags with the driver Settings on Mac. OK, feels like a decade later and 3DConnexion was busy Managin...

Re: Spacemouse has stopped working completely

Latest Ventura 13.1 Public Beta on M1 Mini here. Thought about my old original Space Navigator now losing support too here. AFAIR it was in Blender (?) But realized it is still working as expected in Bricscad. (OK - Bricscad on Mac has no "lock horizon," which is a deal breaker in generall...

Re: Spacemouse driver not working in Ventura

It works fine for me here. But I have Ventura Beta since July already. Maybe I got the security pop up one time, or when I installed the latest driver. Looks like Ventura final has a bug that deactivates previous settings of full disk access in macOS privacy settings. Maybe it also deactivated previ...

Re: Discontinued SpaceNavigator support

SpaceNavigator is not supported anymore on Windows 10 or any other OS, Really ? I have not tried ... I usually have the original Space Navigator + CADMouse on my Mac .... and the SM Enterprise on my Win11 PC. (As Enterprise still can't show Icons on Mac anyway) But my Space Navigator works still fi...
