Simultaneous pan and zoom is something we'd like to add as a feature (it was never there in the past). Unfortunately, we are not able to do this with the current Photoshop API available to us. We've talked with Adobe about this and hopefully it will be possible in the future.

There's no need to proc...

On OS X, the "Fit" command is an application specific command instead of a physical or virtual button press. There is a specific event from the driver called kConnexionCmdAppSpecific for this. In your MyMessageHandler callback, you can add a case statement for processing these events. For example: c...

No need to install anything else. By default, the left button on your SpaceNavigator will display the 3Dconnexion Maya settings dialog. What happens when you click on the left SpaceNavigator button? You can also type MagellanToggleOptionWindow in your MEL script console prompt and this will show or ...

There is a 3Dconnexion settings dialog inside Maya. This dialog has specific options just for Maya. The quickest way to get to it is to click on the left SpaceNavigator button. You can use this dialog in conjunction with your System Preferences

I can reproduce this issue if I "add" the "Second Life Release Candidate.app" using the 3Dconnexion preferences tool. The issue is the assigned name of the application is not consistent with the "bundle" information. A workaround for this is to rename "Second Life Release Candidate.app" to "Second L...

For issue #1, which application are you trying to set button options for and what are you assigning for the buttons? On issue #2, this seems to be a problem with Apple Help. Several other applications are reporting the same issue. I've also seen this on my machine and can't figure out what is going ...

You can adjust the speed on the 3Dconnexion settings dialog inside Maya. Bring up this dialog by clicking on the left SpaceNavigator button. There are speed sliders on the bottom. You normally don't have to keep typing MagellanStartup; to make this work. Try moving all the 3Dconnexion MEL scripts to...

Hi, I'll need some specific details on what the issue is. Some initial things to check are: - Ensure the 3Dconnexion MEL scripts are properly installed. - If the MEL scripts are installed, is there an error message that shows up when you launch Maya. Check the MEL script console for errors. - If the...

You need to copy the scripts into Maya's script folder. There are several possible locations for scripts but the easiest place would be

Hi Shadowcatcher,

What error message do you get when you typed ''MagellanStartup;"? If the message is (// Error: Cannot find procedure "MagellanStartup".), it means that the 3Dconnexion MEL scripts are not getting loaded. The MEL scripts are in the "Additional Plug-ins" folder of the driver DMG.

Just an update on this. I've sent everyone above a test plugin that will hopefully either fix the issue or give more information on what is happening. Once enough data is available and a fix is complete, I'll make this new plugin available for download until it is officially released with our next d...
