Re: Long Press Keys

I'm disappointed there isn't a long press option for anything but the spacepilot pro or spacemouse enterprise, but the radial menu will suffice I guess. It seems like a petty piece of functionality to keep from users.

SpaceMouse Pro and Long Press

I just picked up a used SpaceMouse Pro and am disappointed to see there is no long press functionality? Is that only for the SM Enterprise? The SM Pro description says there are 12 views accessible from the view buttons, but I'm not sure how that math works out.

Old SpacePilot on Windows 10

I have a SpacePilot that runs fine on my Win7 machine, but it's not recognized on Win10. On Win7 I'm currently running v10.4.6 of 3DxWare. On Win10 I downloaded the latest version (10.5.4). I know the SP is no longer officially supported, but it's not blocked from being recognized either. All I get ...

Adobe Acrobat Rotation Center

Is there any way to set the rotation center within a 3D PDF? The only mention I saw about this on the forum was from 2011. Hopefully, some progress has been made with the Acrobat driver since then. I'm running 3DxWare 10.4.9. Thanks.

idtec,
The dll is not a control, it's a library. You need to go to Tools>References in the VB environment, browse to the dll, and add it as a reference.

This rocks! It's exactly how I would have implemented it. Even the options for showing the little blue center of rotation bubble are great. Thanks.

I was recently informed by another SW user of the existence of a beta version of the driver that is supposed to address this issue. I would love to be contacted regarding beta testing. Lately I've been working on many long tubular structures, and that is the exact type of usage that NEEDS some sort ...

I do have the latest drivers. I haven't tested them all, but I know you can't clear buttons 5-10.

SolidWorks 2009 & SpacePilot Pro: Can't clear buttons

In the Button Mapping dialog, not all button functions can be cleared via double-click.

It looks like the 3Dx software now recognizes any macros for which a button was created. Good work. Next stop, functional rotational center!

Unfortunately, it almost doesn't matter to me anymore whether they fix this or not because I will only use version 3.7.12. Anything newer has the screwed up configuration menu that won't let you assign macros to SpacePilot buttons.

Spike, as was stated several times already, that only works in previous versions of 3Dx software (before 3.7.16).

The last line should read: 5 out of 6 buttons on my SpacePilot were mapped to macros. Until this is fixed I'll be going back to the previous software version where this wasn't an issue. I was hoping not to have to do this so I could take advantage of any improvements made to the latest 3Dx driver, b...
