Re: Pan-UpDown "almost" frozen with latest drivers

I'm on 3dsmax 2020. What's strange is the drastic change in behavior from 10-6.0 to the next version 10-6.3 And the weird is that it is only happening in perspective/camera view, not ortho or other front/left/top/etc 10-6.0 works normally in every aspect. I was able to fix the crashing with 10-6.0, ...

Re: Pan-UpDown "almost" frozen with latest drivers

Just tried 10-6.3, and the problem returned, Pan Up/Down axes are behaving weirdly. What did change in the engine? It's working fine in all versions prior to 10-6.3. One could say that I crank up axes sensitivity, but it improves little, so much so that it is still very slow and a pain to navigate, ...

Re: Pan-UpDown "almost" frozen with latest drivers

PS: With 10-6, the device was working perfectly as far as the axes are concerned. Pan/UpDown was butter.

Re: Pan-UpDown "almost" frozen with latest drivers

Ok, so I tried to roll back to the oldest version supporting 3dsmax 2020, which is 10-6

But now the device buttons can't be configured and the driver crash/stop when I tried to assign custom keys.

Pan-UpDown "almost" frozen with latest drivers

Hi all, I updated to I'm now in 3dsmax 2020 and the latest driver is driving me nuts. The pan and up-down axis, in camera/perspective viewport(s), is so slow, compared to other axis, it is almost frozen, and almost doesn't react, even after cranking up the speed. At first I thought it was not workin...

Re: 3dsmax 2019 crashing all the time (after a few minutes of use)

Sorry, I didn't see the notification for your reply. Thank you for this. It somehow fixed itself, maybe with another version of the driver. However, I'm now in 3dsmax 2020 and the latest driver is driving me nuts. The pan and up-down axis, in camera/perspective viewport(s), is so slow, compared to o...

Re: Space mouse pro x axis not working in 3dsmax perspective

edit:
The problem keeps coming back again and again, and even refreshing views don't work always.
I really I could get support on this one.
Thank you.

Re: Space mouse pro x axis not working in 3dsmax perspective

Edit:
This happens on one scene.
I tried on an empty scene and it works normally.
What is going on?
So weird.

Re: Space mouse pro x axis not working in 3dsmax perspective

And up-down is also disabled in perspective.
Basically I can't move neither sideways nor up and down in perspective view (and also camera view).
This is so restricted comparing to the previous experience I had.

Space mouse pro x axis not working in 3dsmax perspective

Hi, I updated to the latest drivers and now this weird problem occurred, where I cannot move sideways (or use X axis) in perspective view (?!) The weirder is that it works in orthographic. I searched in the options, I don't understand. It's the first time I see that problem. Thank you in advance for...

Re: CTRL ESC ALT not Working - other Buttons are OK

Thank you for your answer. I meant that some functions didn't work when I assigned them. Also, the device was crashing my 3dsmax every single time without apparent reason. (other thread) As nobody was answering to either, I was forced to reinstall my whole OS, and all the programs... 2days... But i ...

Re: 3dsmax 2019 crashing all the time (after a few minutes of use)

In fact, the new 3dconnexion driver seems to behave differently, since some versions of the driver It seems that it "caches" the viewport movement, so it can be smooth, then releases it when you stop moving the 3Dmouse. I can feel a slight lag when releasing the device. The crash occurs at...

Re: 3dsmax 2019 crashing all the time (after a few minutes of use)

I've been informed by a user that the 10.5.5 (at least) version is working fine for him on several systems, with 2 different 3dconnexion devices, so I gues the conclusion is that my system, being old, maybe experiencing incompatibility issues.

Thank you everybody for your support.
