Re: Use Space Mouse as Joystick

Where can I find a driver for my Windows PC to emulate a Joystick with my Space Mouse? Sorry for being late to the party. There is a brilliant tool with " ControlMyJoystick " for that purrpose. Not only does it allow you to configure every axis to control every Joystick input plus respons...

Re: keyboard, mouse and joystick emulation ?

The installation on my test system was borked and I had to crawl through the registry for a proper removal of the 3D Connexion driver and reinstall the current version. After that I gave ControlMyJoystick a shot and I think it is the most versatile and powerful soltution to adopt the 3D Connexion de...

Re: Unable to install latest driver

Sorry, but I have to add that manually going through the registry this was the only way to get me up and running again (your support just recommended the usual and readily accessible advices that did not help). In the end it dshowed that for some reason (I guess it's because i am running your produc...

Re: keyboard, mouse and joystick emulation ?

Yes, it is possible. But it requires editing XML files. The GUI can not help you. I am following this kind of requests repeating now since many, many, many, years (did I say it was many of them?) I don't understand 3 things here: 1. Why 3D Connexion decided to drop/not implement it in the first pla...

Re: Spacenavigator for Gaming

It seems my preferences simply picked the German subsite leading me to the possible erratic assumption you had linked this and are German. Anyway, I am and I came across this through Megatron, so I fired up an inquiry and gave them a call one week later. Antoher week and I held the pieces in my hand...

Re: Spacenavigator for Gaming

@Hypersonic: and as you linked to the German site of 3Dconnexion: Megatron sits near Munich, they are very helpful and responsive, send the an inquiry or ring them up. Actually I am looking into a non-gaming purpose project and hence bought them through our company, but after all they have this iem ...

Re: Spacenavigator for Gaming

Unfortunately, this discussion goes on as long as these controllers exist but it seems not possible/worth for 3D connexion to pursue the solution that was already implemented in earlier versions of v10 Beta (and removed on the way without notification). Well meanwhile I found, that 3Dconnexions actu...

Re: Does KMJ emulator still work?

Well, there's nothing I can do about the GUI, but if you tell me what you need I can probably create a cfg file for you. Keeping people using this functionality helps to prevent it from rusting away. Which is crazy, as it allready was there way back in the beta days.... have you ever looked what yo...

Re: What happened to keyboard, mouse and joystick emulation?

Logitech would not have made this mistake Honestly? Actually I cannot help thinking that it might be in fact Logitech that keeps 3Dconnexion from officially releasing this o so obvious feature. Remember, this technology was/is a Logitech offspring (anyone recalls the Cyberman II I still have somewh...

Re: SpaceMouse Joystick Emulator

I still wonder why they didn't pursue the brillant approach of Beta v4 - I am still using this as it's happily working on Win 10. Reverting to the old, rigid approach of the native GUI with 3DxWare 10 was a huge step backwards in my concern. Since then I continue coming back to check if there's som ...

At least jwick promised so in this very thread when someone asked for support on a 3rd party, paid for driver: While it would be informative to find out how much you guys are willing to pay for this driver, in all good conscience I need to stop this thread before you waste too much time. The feature...

Another thought I had, just to make up my mind what to do withmy ST and SN now: will the new driver/software support multiple units with differnt configs - as in SN as mouse and SPP as Joystick or both as one Joystick with multiple axes?
