A good list of .scg file variable definitions would be the biggest help (and my only option) at this point.

Wouldn't necessarily work. I know earlier spaceballs took their power from the serial port, and many rs232<->USB converters cannot provide the necessary power. I seem to recall some workarounds for powering these if you're handy with solder.

I'm stuck using older versions of the drivers until our IT vets the latest, which I don't expect this year (or the next).
