Re: S-Navigator:3dXv10.2:LEDS:Off After Sleep/Resume-Vista32

Going back on the posted topic of Space Navigator LEDs... The past two times of coming back out of sleep mode, the LEDs are back on each time. I haven't rebooted since my OP, so I don't know if just toggling them on once after a sleep/wake cycle cures the problem until the next reboot, but it...

Re: S-Navigator:3dXv10.2:LEDS:Off After Sleep/Resume-Vista32

That should work as expected. The driver knows when the machine comes back to life. It restores the LEDs to the requested state (or tries to)--but there have been driver versions in the past when it didn't. This could be an interesting case to diagnose. Thanks, that is helpful. Other devices (like ...

S-Navigator:3dXv10.2:LEDS:Off After Sleep/Resume-Vista32bit

Using the new 3d Xware 10 v10.2.0, the LEDS work fine until I wake up the desktop PC in the morning after sleeping it overnight. In the past, this has sometimes meant restarting the S-Navi/3d Xware, but with the current version, it is working OK in this state, but not lit up. I can get the LEDs to c...

Re: support for TurboCAS Deluxe (15) - any clues how to enab

An update which may help others coming here with an unresponsive TurboCAD [Deluxe] (14+) In my TurboCAD [Deluxe] (15): In Tools/Customize/OptionsTab there is an "Additional Devices Setup..." button near the bottom. That opened a new window which showed it recognised two mice on my system: ...

You may have to enable the device
"Tools" commands, there is a "Customize 3D Mouse"
In which application? There is no such option under "Tools" in my TurboCAD Deluxe 15.
I don't see one in my 3DxWare either.

support for TurboCAS Deluxe (15) - any clues how to enable?

I have a Space Navigator, and wish to use it for my TurboCAD Deluxe V15 This forum has only old queries about old versions. The website "supported software" search says it is supported (V14, presumbaly 14+), but gives no hint as how to get it enabled. The link sends me to the TurboCAD webs...

3Dx for Nvaigator Repair/Reinstall wants 3DxMaya32.msi

I'm using Vista 32 bit Business, installed/installing 3DxSoftware32_v3-16-3_r1447 for my Space Navigator. It's not working with Google Earth v7.0.3.8542 (Build Date 26/2/2013) Tried a validation, and it stopped at wanting a "network resource that is unavailable". Trying to find 3DxMaya32.m...

To reply to both: ..Microsoft has 'clean startup' steps here : http://support.microsoft.com/kb/331796 I did try that, and it highlighted a couple of Creative startups that I'd hoped were long gone (now disabled), but little else that I wasn't expecting. The best clue was: One type of application kno...

Should have said:

The offending s80trans.dll IS in place in the file structure, and, if clicked on, says the driver is already running, so seems intact/working.

Error: Could not load transport DLL s80trans.dll

In recent weeks, I've been getting message: Could not load transport DLL s80trans.dll I'm using a Space Navigator in Vista 32, fully up date. Just rechecked installation/validated/repaired current version [3.15.3, driver 6.15.3, Firmware 3.18], & just enabled Log file - it says: UdCtl: Could not...
