I could not agree more. All I want it the same 3dx Office support that I had for 32-bit Windows XP. Maybe if we keep posting to this list, it will get some attention from the support group.

Still no support for Windows 64?????

Hi- I made an initial post about 9 months ago regarding the need for "3dxOffice" type support for the 64 bit windows platforms (XPx64 and now Vista). I have been reading through the forums, and I see that I am not the only one that is unsatisfied with 3dconnexion's support of this issue. I...

It looks like the RBC driver now works with SpaceBalls, but not with Windows x64 :(

Is there any update from 3Dconnexion when support for 2D apps will be released for x64?

Hi Jim- Thanks for the reply. I'm glad to hear that 3dconnexion will continue to support 2D. I tried out the RBC9 driver, but it seems to only work for SpaceNavigators at this point. I emailed the developer to see if he can make it work for the spaceball as well. (It didn't work when I tried to inst...

Hi RBC9- Thanks for your work to get a 2D driver for the SN. Unfortunately, I have a SpaceBall, not a SN, so the device ID is PID_C621 instead of 626. So, it does not let me update the driver, or run RBC-9 SpaceNav. (It runs, but can't find a SpaceNavigator). I am running Windows x64 (which does not...

Brieldo-

Everyone will be moving to the x64 architecture soon. Does this mean that the spaceball will never again have functionality in other applications? Can I get a confirmation from 3Dconnexion about the status of 3DxOffice?

Thanks,
Dave

Hi- I am having the same problems as everyone else with the x64 version of WF2. Looking forward to the fix. Is there an update planned for the other functionality of the SpaceBall within Windows x64? Mine still has zero functionality outside of ProE. I have heard that this is because the 3DxOffice p...

Hi- I just recently migrated from WinXP (32 bit) to x64. My spacepilot was a dream in Win32 since I could move around on Pro/E WF2, and especially since I could use it in Adobe Acrobat to pan around a document and zoom simultaneously. Now it works with WF2, but is completely unresponsive with all ot...
