Re: c4d r11 not convincing...
Hello everyone and thanks for your credits! After having "launched" the spacenavigator within c4d r11 on mac osx I just got tired of it and left it behind!... Why? Because the handling is by far not as good as it should and can be (see Maya!). Using 1/2/3 to navigate with a tablet or the ...

Hi DJackson, this is because it was originally a plugin. As the Cinema 4D GUI is very flexible, you can even dock it as a tab in the interface. (like the object-, structure-manager) That way it ocupies no space of the interface. (spacemouse-dialog has to be open to work) Regards Jan Yes that's exac...

SpaceNavigator fully supports Photoshop CS4. When you run the driver install, it will place a plug-in into /Applications/Adobe Photoshop CS4/Plug-ins/3Dconnexion. Please check and see if this is there Flomotan, could you send me that Photoshop plugin as well? The installer doesn't install anything ...

me too, thanks for all the help though, you've already enlightened me inititially to the problem - that there's no plugins actually being installed, and that lead me to do more searching to find this stuff out. Pretty sad support I'd have to say :( On the bright side, the SpaceNavigator does work in...

A quick Google search didn't turn anything up, but I wonder what would happen if you just renamed the plugin to .plugin from .8li. I'd think the worst thing that could happen is PS would refuse to start until you removed it. Does the SN driver store the plugins in a folder under it's application fo...

works in C4D = yeah. doesn't work in Photoshop CS4 = boo
Unfortunately the SpaceNavigator does NOT work in Adobe Photoshop CS4, despite 3Dconnexions claim that it is supported. No plugins are installed from the new 1.5.6 driver even though the release notes say it does. Someone dropped the ball. :( I have Mac OSX Leopard 10.5.6 - 8 core Intel Photoshop CS...

Knowing Adobe the plugins are probably the same for PC and Mac, it'd just be a matter of where to put the plugin. Haven't used a Mac since System 9, so I doubt I'll be much help on that account. Maybe Adobe support will have info on where to put a plugin file. Yeah it's precisely the same placement...
