Re: Maya 2024
what did you do? I'm sure I had it working in Maya before, but not it's stopped working completely - working fine in other apps.

SpaceMouse Pro Wireless hardware version numbers?
Hi So apparently the current hardware version of the Spacemouse pro wireless is "3DX-700075" - and I just ordered and received one advertised as that version from ebay. The box it came in says "3DX-700075" on the side - but the sticker on the bottom of the actual mouse says P/N: ...

Re: netfabb 2021 and 2022: twist axis is not twisting
Netfabb issue. There's a setting that's either been added or had it's default value changed called "Default Orbit Type" - that is defaulted to "constrained orbit", in order to use the twist axis on your 3DConnexion device that setting needs to be changed to "Free Orbit"...

Re: netfabb 2021 and 2022: twist axis is not twisting
correction: left-right roll axis not working at all - it does nothing, while twist is doing left-right roll.

netfabb 2021 and 2022: twist axis is not twisting
The twist axis doesn't work in Netfabb (2021 and 2022) - I'm using spacepilot pro wireless on 10.8.4 - same issue on 10.7.4 Twist does a left-right roll instead of twisting, left-right roll works normally as do all the other axes. Very frustrating .... Is this a netfabb issue or a 3dconnextion issue...

Re: Jerky graphics with Space pilot PRO on Solidworks
I'm fairly sure now that in my case it's a wireless reception issue.
I have the Spacemouse pro wireless, I think the receiver moved slightly or something. It was less than 4 feet from the spacemouse, but I moved it closer anyway and control has been smooth for hours now.

Re: Jerky graphics with Space pilot PRO on Solidworks
Ok never mind, it seems Windows Search is not the problem, jerkiness is back after a brief period of smooth operation. So it seems the key takeaways are that it's intermittent - and I think, that this latest driver is worse than previous versions. Intermittent jerkiness has always been there, but it...

Re: Jerky graphics with Space pilot PRO on Solidworks
I also recently upgraded my drivers and then noticed unusable jerkiness in Solidworks - I have noticed occasional bad jerkiness before, but now it becomes unusable. It was so bad that I reverted to using my normal mouse - that was still silky smooth at least, although I hate it, anyway .... I notice...

Re: Strange coupled panning and zoom in SolidWorks
how about 10.4.5? Solidworks is specifically mentioned in the release notes for 10.4.5
Unfortunately I'm still on the SpaceExplorer and 10.4.3 is the most recent driver for it.
If 10.4.5 or any release from then to 10.4.10 fixes the perspective view I'll upgrade to a new mouse...

Re: After rotating or moving my part keeps moving
I have drift in my device and I tried setting a deadband value in %appdata%\3dconnexion\3DxWare\Cfg\Global_User.xml - which was already set to 10, presumably from an old version of 3dxware that allowed you to set it in the app. However - whatever value I used did nothing, even though checking the 3D...

Re: Strange coupled panning and zoom in SolidWorks
wow, I don't have the words - this is an issue I've been following for years. To finally hear that it's a 3dconnexion issue and not a solidworks one, as was suggested in this thread and others, is something of a mindblower. The thing is, my space-explorer is f#cking brilliant, manipulating parts and...

hello 3DCon ? anyone going to answer Noodles followup?
I figured out this perspective zoom issue as well after much frustration and was very happy for a while. However I am now finding that not being able to use the perspective view is impairing my productivity. My assemblies involve many repetitions of the same parts and without the perspective view it...
