Re: Right Mouse Click in a Macro

It seems what I really wanted was the context sensitive menu. And that can be had with SHIFT+F10. Those are easy to add and I'm up and running.

Re: Recognizing Mathcad

Your right. That's the same behavior I've seen. I'll give it a try. Thanks.

Right Mouse Click in a Macro

I would like to add a Keypress/Keyrelease combo for a mouse right click to a macro in one of my profiles. Any thoughts on how to code it? Back in the Beta I just right clicked in the macro window. Now the right click is captured for a drop down. So, I'm looking to add it directly into the .xml file....

Re: Recognizing Mathcad

Good morning MJG, Back in the mid 2000s 3Dconnexion supported non-3D software. There was a suit for Windows apps, for instance. These profiles became legacy and now are useless with the XML coding. Ever since that time my use of my Pro has been pretty non-standard. And, 3DxWare Beta supported any ap...

Re: Recognizing Mathcad

This response is a little surprising. When 3DxWare was in Beta there was a screen for adding programs. Now that it is no longer Beta the screen is gone. Also, PTC produces 2 forms of Mathcad: the old version 15 and the new Prime. 3DxWare recognizes 15 but not Prime. What I'm hearing is I'm on my own...

Recognizing Mathcad

I would like to use my SpacePilot Pro with Mathcad Prime 3.0 on my Windows 7 64x computer. However, the Pro doesn't see the shift in focus when I click in the Mathcad window. Any suggestions?

A repeat post

Sorry to repeat myself, but JWick can you tell us why you discouraged muddiman from pursuing a 3rd party driver last August?

You said the open beta was just around the corner. What happened?

Curious minds want to know.

Another month and still no universal driver

This is what I was afraid of when jwick discouraged muddiman back in August.

JWick would you explain the six month lapse since the open beta was almost ready? Was this mendacity or incompetence? Just askin'.

Muddiman, if you're tracking this discussion, any thoughts on calling their bluff?

Hi Phaedron, Thanks for the instructions. I've followed them with several variations but to no avail. If I use the driver and inf unaltered the yellow triangle never goes away. If I make the mods to the inf that you suggest the Update Driver Software utility fails. I can send you screen shots but I ...

Working with the x64 RBC9 Tool

Greeting's all, In the past I used the Office plug-in to let me work in unsupported programs. It didn't do all that I wanted, but it was enough. Now I'm on a Win7 x64 box and need something outside of SolidWorks. I download the RBC9 Tool from Omni Flux but it doesn't appear to support the SpacePilot...

Ain't it the Truth

Smiler you're right. It has been literally years that devoted 3Dx fans have been begging for this. In the summer of the 2009, when I was helping support cleanup of the mess they made of the SolidWorks button config, I asked about a generic driver. That was the first time I heard that they were actua...

Same here

I'm also seeing a delay, but not as long. For me it's about a half second. Mordack runs our IT security so I thought it was unique to my system. I tried Zoom to Area. On my system the cursor doesn't change until I try to move it. So, if I wait for the cursor to change before moving it, I can wait al...

Hmmm

Hallo Uta, The phrasing of your reply has me worried. There is a broad range of capabilities that one could provide in a 3D mouse. On the minimmalist extreme the mouse would only work with a few predefined programs and the buttons would only provide a few predefined functions. On the other extreme t...

3.8.1

I loaded 3.8.1. It fixed the SW button mapping problems. Don't know what that means for MasterCAM or Rapidform.

3.8.1

I've loaded 3.8.1. The button mapping issues seem to be fixed. I assigned Set Center Point to the Pan Zoom button. It works correctly in Part and Assembly.
