Update?

Any other updates or ETA on when this new driver will be released? Is there any way I could get the beta in the meantime?

Thanks...Brian

With my SpaceNavigator, I need to unplug and plug it back in for the settings to be applied from the layout.

Did you sign the RBC9-SpaceNav.sys file with Driver Signature Enforcement Overrider available here: http://www.ngohq.com/home.php?page=dseo

That's the only thing I can think of.

Did you also sign the RBC9-SpaveNav.sys file using the Driver Signature Enforcement Overrider program?

Omni Flux - Just wanted to say thanks for the x64 driver. I am using it successfully under Windows 7 Ultimate x64. The only quirk is whenever I change something in the layout and hit apply, I have to exit the SpaceNav software and unplug my SpaveNav. Then restart the software and plug the SpaveNav b...

Yes, you point to the inf file to install the driver, not the sys file. The inf should be under Windows\Inf\RBC9-SpaceNav.inf if you are using the original RBC9 installer.

yeah funny thiong with that. I now have my "testmode" signings in the corners of my screen but still the driver is not accepted by my system, announcing the same Error Code (39) as it did before. That's really confusing since it seems to work wirh your systems.... :?: My mistake, I thought those we...

Asking Google for the signing problem of the driver (F8 sucks sooo much everytime i reboo) Check this post on how to disable it without hitting F8 every time: http://www.3dconnexion.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=11956#11956 I've had driver signing disabled on my Vista x64 since I installed it for a dri...

I just tried to install this on Vista X64, but for some reason when it comes to having windows locate the driver, it only lets me choose the default "USB Human Interface Device." Does anyone have a clue about what to do next? This driver is 32 bit only. I am dual booting Vista 32 and 64 bit now so ...

Solved all my problems by dual booting into Vista 32bit and using the RBC9 driver to play games. I'll do this for now until someone comes out with a 64bit solution like RBC9's.

It would be great in FPS shooters. I used to use the SpaceOrb 360 and would own in Quake 2 and UT99.

FPS shooters

Has anyone written a script that works well with FPS games? I tried the following simple mouse emulation script to "look around" with my SpaceNav, but it was way too sensitive. Tried it in UT3. Mouse.x = MapRange(SpaceBall.Yaw, -20,20, 0,1) Mouse.y = MapRange(SpaceBall.Pitch, 20,-20, 0,1) I have the...

It's working now using SpaceBall. I didn't have the 3DConnexion software installed before so it only saw it as a joystick.

A question

When I use GlovePIE my SpaceNav is only detected as Joystick1. If I try to use the Spaceball assignment, it doesn't work. Is this right? Or am I doing something wrong. I'm running Vista x64.

Thanks...Brian
