Update :P Or just using the SpaceNavigator in Photoshop bring back the icons.

Until they fix the bug with a driver update pressing Alt+Shift+Ctrl+R or File>Automate>3DxPhotoshop... brings back the icons.

I have Release Version 3.6.7, Driver Version 6.6.1 and Firmware Version 4.04. I can work in Photoshop CS3 for a while and then while panning, it will crash.
