You're right, I mixed this thread up with one about Cinema 4D. I have no intention to sell you Cinema 4D. Sorry!

Your 3D device IS supported in the next release of Cinema 4D, R11. If you download the latest version, it will already work! After downloading and starting it up, go to Windows > 3Dconnexion and keep this panel open to use you SpacePilot.

I was thinking, perhaps having all the axes moving, makes animation by nature a little more organic, less rigid. I sometimes find myself not banking a camera in Cinema because I need to go to its parameters to do so. I remember working in Lightwave was less exact, but also a bit more loose. Now when...

Yeah, did anyone manage to enable a turntable-style of navigation?
Deactivating any of axes (Y?) seems to return undesirable results...

It works really well to select and move a camera in one viewport and see what it's doing in another. Also, I really like the way the camera work now. Easier to make pans and more logical than before.

Checking it out now also. This is an incredible increase in working speed. For the ones that want to check out out, go to the Window menu > 3Dconnexion and keep the dialogue box open.

Nice!

Thank you very much for this clarifying reply! Yesterday I emailed Maxon and they gave the following promising reply: Hello! At the moment, CINEMA 4D R10.5 has no SpaceMouse support on Macintosh, but the next version of C4D will have it! Kind regards, Jörn Gollob Technical Support =========== MAXON ...

One thing that I've been wondering: who's actually responsible for writing the code for drivers of any device? Why would 3Dconnexion knock on Maxon's door? Doesn't every printer manufacturer write its own drivers? Don't Nvidia and Ati write their own drivers? I understand that when you have a printe...

Used Maya on Windows with my SpacePilot with much love and satisfaction, but got a bit depressed when I did a forbidden 'full switch' to Cinema 4D on the Mac. I would love to get the power I used to have back. I would even pay for such a driver. Geez, I would hand over my mother-in-law for it, and s...

SpacePilot Cinema 4D support please!

Dear 3Dconnexion people, Thank you very much for giving your attention to the Mac platform, Google Earth works beautifully! Recently (about three months ago) I made a dramatic and double switch: I went from from Maya on the PC, to Cinema 4D on the Mac. Now I can tell you my SpacePilot looks very sex...
