What's your budget? Wait for Windows 7. I'm posting from the 64 bit version, and it's a LOT better than Vista. I'm head of IT/MS for our company, and we've stuck with XP though the Vista debacle. We'll not be rushing into Windows 7 because it's a big infrastructure change (we'll want to nuke everyon...

Hi rasqual, It doesn't roll in GE because Google didn't want it to roll. They design the actions that it performs in their app. Still, it would be kinda cool... Contact them if you wish. I don't know anything about Gforce mode. Fill me in. Jim 3Dx Software Development While viewing somewhat horizon...

Thanks for fixing the configuration bug etc. I'm curious about something, though. The roll axis doesn't appear to do a thing in GE. Not sure why. Any ideas? Also, in Gforce mode the device operates -- but not very coherently (as far as I can see). Do I infer rightly that you're not developing for Gf...

Interesting.

In Vista with Office 2007 I can zoom in and out, but no panning or anything else. Just zooming.

I realize it's unsupported, but if any other users can get it working I'd be interested to hear of it. Might be handy in big sheets.

Is there an SDK for this thing? I might like to play!

This bug is still present in the Vista beta. Figured I'd mention it here instead of in the Vista thread.

I'm experiencing it in Google Earth, the only app I have that uses the Navigator.

Is Google Earth going to have its own committed launch panel?

Google Earth won't look up

I believe this is a Google Earth problem, but if 3Dconnexion devs are in conversation with GE devs, I'm sure their suggestions would carry more weight than my own. So I'm in Denver -- or anywhere else -- wanting to "look up" at things. Works OK, sort of -- but then upon releasing any posit...

Oh great. And they release a new version that doesn't support Vista.

About the time this 3D driver supports Vista, a new Sketchup doesn't.
