-1 for not not being able to edit posts, should be Underneath the line: %RBC9_TRA.DeviceDesc% =Install, USB\VID_046D&PID_C623 ; SpaceTraveler something like %RBC9_PRO.DeviceDesc% =Install, USB\VID_046D&PID_C62X ; SpacePilotPro (where X makes it a valid ID for the SpacePilot Pro) and undernea...

I (tried) to explain the setup steps for the SpaceNavigator in this post The Spacepilot Pro might have a different ID than USB\VID_046D&PID_C626, but probably still is in the C62x range. However, it is not included in the inf file. I don't know if you can force the normal SpacePilot drivers to l...

The SDK is a Software Development Kit, not something like a driver. It's a programmers tool, and with the SDK developers of software can alter their program code so their software will know how to deal with Spacecontroller products. So the developers of Pump Linx and CF Turbo are the only ones that ...

No release date has been given, it presumably is in closed beta, but the moderators here have been unwilling to disclose even a tentative release date (working in software support myself I can understand why :) )

The games described on this site are the only ones with 'native' support for Spacecontrollers. However, you can also bind joystick axes, mouse movement and keys to your Spacecontroller, so you can also use them in games that don't have native support. To do this, you will have to wait for the offici...

OK, scratch both of the above posts. Joystick binds ARE possible, for both DXX and D2X-XL, and both work perfectly. The trick is, the rY axis isn't usually configured in 6 axis joysticks, but the Slider axis is. In the RBC9 tool, bind the axes in the following way: Top row: X, Y and Z axes Bottom ro...

BTW, there might still be options to bind keys to the controls used in DXX. However, I prefer having analogue control. In D2X-XL, I couldn't get any of these axes working, probably because they only support the joysticks that were around originally when D2 was released.

Well I'm very interested in buying a SpaceNavigator...but I'd like to make sure it works on my favorite game before dropping $100 in to it. Is there anybody out there who would be willing to see if it works on DXX-Rebirth for me? I tried DXX-Rebirth today. I bound all axis on my SpaceNavigator to j...

Re: Thank you!

[quote="Jonny Tenebrous"I used the Driver Signature Enforcer Overrider, but I must've done something wrong, because although my computer stated it was in Test Mode, I still had to Press F8 on startup to get the driver to load. [/quote] I had the same problem. Basically, I have done the fol...

jwick wrote:The beta you want is the new driver (3DxSoftware v4.x with 3DxWare v7.x). It's going to be a while for that.
So, now we know the version number, the question of the timeframe still stands.
