Going to bump this up again and hopefully get some more specific info.

Can you tell me what specifically in the XSI SDK/API is preventing 3d Connexion devices from working in all views? Be as technical as possible.

Hmmm...last I spoke to them, they said the current SDK offers plenty of ways for you to have your device work in anyway that you want. This is where it was last left off two years ago....back and fourth between 3d Connexion and Softimage. Is there anything specific in the SDK that I can point to the...

XSI addon needs to be updated

I've been requesting and asking about this for about 2 years now but when can we get an updated driver that allows 3d connexion devices to work properly with every view-port in XSI? It only works in the camera view, user view and front, left, right, top views. The other critical views like object vi...

Ok, I seem to have it working now..I had to manually install the xsi addon after installation. The auto-installer could not install it correctly. Maybe due to the multiple versions on my system?

can not install in WinXP 64

I'm having problems installing either the 3.5 or 3.6.7 software for the Space Explorer on WinXP 64. I downloaded the latest...v3.6.7 and then tried the one that came with it...v3.5... Neither works. They go through the install process, then freeze. I noticed its launching XSIbatch.exe (32bit). If I ...

I fully understand but Photoshop and ANY 3d application are like bread and butter. NOBODY uses a 3d app without Photopshop. I'm just saying that supported Photoshop support is icing on the cake when a serious 3d professional like myself is looking at a product like this.

I don't understand why something so popular and widely used like Photoshop would no longer be officially supported. Any reason why?

Softimage plugin needs to be updated

I was playing around with the Space Pilot at Siggraph and I noticed the 3d Connexion products don't work well with many of Softimage's viewports. It only seems to work in viewports where there is a "camera" of some sort. This is a huge limitation. Simple side to side and up and down motion...

Photoshop support?

Does the 3d Connexion products no longer support Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator? I don't see them on the supported products list. I remember they worked great with the SpaceBall 3000 when I tried it about a year ago. I sure hope you guys didn't drop support on those apps!
