Re: No APP support

Just for the record - my Space Traveler is almost 2 years forgotten in the closet among other useless stuff, because I DID get TIRED of waiting 3DConnexion to support more creative applications !!! Bottom line - If you want this product to be the way you like it... Stop buying it - this way either ...

I'm not sure, I created a spot light, selected it, went to panels then look through selected, and it says "Error: No valid objects supplied to 'xform' command." down in the command response field. I tried to get around it by making a camera, and a spotlight, parenting the spotlight to the ...

We encourage you to contact the software developers and share with them your thoughts and desires for them to incorporate use of our 3D Mice with their applications. I tried this in Maya 2008 and it does the same thing. You can look through lights, and aim them using the standard manipulators, but if you try and move the camera it gives that same error. I also tried an experiment, I made a camera, and looked through it, and the controller works, I then made a li...

I'm very interested in other devices I was able to find using a simple google search, I bought a space navigator to try out this device, and am happy with it in 3dsmax and maya, but the lack of Zbrush support, or even caring about support for more apps is displeasing. I bought the device to have a u...

no if only they could come to more professional applications like Mudbox or Zbrush.

However much I enjoy games, it would only frustrate me more to have use of my 6dof device in halflife and not zbrush.

also just noticed that they're adding support for a game called Second Life... ? looks like they'll expand into gaming before actually supporting 3d painting apps... I wish there were competition in the "3d mouse" department, seems thats the only way this device would go in the right direc...

Lights in Maya 7.0

When looking through a spot light in maya 7.0 the spacenavigator has no motion control, it says "Error: No valid objects supplied to 'xform' command." this works in 3dsmax and it would be really nice to aim lights in maya as well (im just now making the transition from max to maya." thx

Yeah I was asking about this a long time ago in another post but no dice.

What frustrates me most is they actively support Google Earth rather than something, that isn't a toy/high tech mapquest.

here's the Zbrush communications Thank you for your feedback. Every single feature in ZBrush is paid for through man hours spent developing that feature. When allocating those man hours, we must give first priority to features that will benefit ALL ZBrush users, regardless of the hardware that they'...

I have sent messages to both Zbrush (PIxellogic) and Mudbox. Here was my e-mail Subject: Support Feature query: Hello, I'm looking to integrate a package like yours into my pipeline within the next 6-8 months. I'm currently looking at your product and that of the previously released Zbrush2. I'm con...

Button Descriptions

It would be very helpful if you could click on the picture of each device in your store, and have a window showing a detailed picture of the button layout pop up. The best picture ive found is in the pdf files, and still its not very visible... so my question... The SpacePilot has the sensitivity bu...

3d Painting apps -

I'm interesting in buying one of your devices for my work with 3ds max, and my lesser work in Maya. But I would really like to see support for 3d painting apps. Namely ZBrush2 And / Or Mudbox I haven't yet tried mudbox, but I have used Zbrush2 for a little while. I would buy mudbox if one of your de...
