Any application options are used only when there is no specific application listed. It means when you are using f.i. Fusion, you should change options for Fusion. Google chrome also has his set of options to update.

Please follow those steps:
1. Install driver version 10.6.5
2. Uninstall it
3. Reboot the system
4. Install again the newest version
