I think I'm tailing you....

I did get it working, after much MUCH looking around. I noticed a source file with the i386 blender plugin from 3dconnexion. I downloaded the header file I needed from the blender source tree and managed to get it to compile on my 64bit system. That works great with the 2.49.2 (official) version of ...

Blender 2.46 amd64

I've poked around, and found an amd64 plugin for blender, but it doesnt seem to work. Searching here, I've found that the plugin will work if I switch to an older version of blender. I do understand that this software is alpha, but is there any way to have you release the amd64 version of the plugin...

The driver starts, but the apps dont think so...

Ok, been fighting with this for a few days now. Installed opensuse 10.2. Found out (who knows why) that they tried to depreciate usbfs. I'm sure that went amazingly well. Upgraded my kernel to one that supports usbfs, then messed with the fstab to include it on boot. Awesome. Re-installed the driver...
