3D mice for scrubbing - video & audio
Hey there, I was wondering if anyoney else would be interested in scrubbing functions. I'm considering either getting a 3D mouse BT or some sort of Loupedeck with jog wheel for Audio & Video production. Ideally the 3D mouse as a real allrounder. Can the drivers be programmed to support this func...

Re: Erratic scrolling behavior from the CadMouse
turn off the mouse just fo safety probably... hold the mouse firmly in 1 hand with the other scroll with 1 finger super fast and powerfull so that the scroll rolls for 1s-2s on its own... do it both ways... 3-4 times was enough. Worked for me as well. I guess that's one of the quirks we have to liv...

Re: Space Navigator not recognized as a device
I'm having the same problem with Windows 10 now - any tricks?
It worked fine before I connected it to a KVM switch, I'm guessing that's at fault, but it should be a normal USB port. Yes, it was connected to a main USB port before. I don't want 2 3d mice for 2 computers, I hope there's a solution!

Re: CAD Mouse button macros sometimes not working
Hah, you're a genius. Thanks a lot for the Mousotron link! I'm also thinking about getting a backup device. I just hate getting used to new gear 8) And yes, the market is so oversaturated with total junk, it just makes sense to stick with one device that's closest to your industry. But, as mentioned...

Re: CAD Mouse button macros sometimes not working
"cunning" is well put... Let's say there's one solution I'd happily accept: I used to have a Samsung Laser printer, which held up for a good 10 years minimum, and before that an OKI colour Laser. These would always give me end-of-cycle messages for their (replaceable) components. So if the...

Re: CAD Mouse button macros sometimes not working
The business of making ergonomic mice for professionals is quite tricky, without planed obsolescence, the company would go out of business. I know, that's a given. On the other hand - I'll never, ever buy Logitech again for that very reason, SteelSeries, Roccat... I bought 3Dx because my SpaceNavig...

Re: CAD Mouse button macros sometimes not working
You have warned me before and I already have a larger number of the switches you recommended at hand. As long as the side switches are the same... I only bought the mouse because of the better switches, so after all that is only half-true

CAD Mouse button macros sometimes not working
Hi there, I have copy/paste on the side buttons for all apps, all Windows 10 components where needed, browser etc., but sometimes, they just go back to forward/backwards. Ist this a Windows behaviour I can turn off/modify or is there any way to fix this? It's unpredictable, so it gets in the way qui...

Re: Please Give Blender Full Navigation Modes Like ZBrush
I don't understand, if Blender is Open Source , 3Dx isn't , and Cinema4D, ZBrush etc all are NOT, how is it less of a problem for 3DX to adapt to proprietary software than to OSS? According to 2019 stats, there are between 1-3 million Blender users that even NVidia is banking on for its "metave...

Re: Run Diagnostics
How can I enable driver logging? Automated analysis always tells me it's off. Is there any feedback supposed to happen upon pressing "enable logging", except the red warning text disappearing? Once a zip is created, the final text wall *.txt says drivers weren't logged, so I don't know wha...

Re: CadMouse button config App by App???
He probably wants to do something like I'd like to NOT setup for every single app as well, like "Copy & Paste" on the 2 side buttons. EVen though I did go through and set it up, sometimes it just won't work and will only do "forward/backwards". Very annoying and since it's so...

Re: Cadmouse pro wireless
Maybe your battery needs to be "broken in" a bit, I believe full capacity is usually reached within the first 3 charging cycles. I can go for about 160 hours with it (2 weeks). This may or may not also be connected to your connection method, maybe BT needs more energy than the "regula...

Re: Any reason for dropping the Linux support?
@lord123 do you, by chance, have any resources for mentioned drivers? I just got the CAD mouse and no support, drivers from 2014... just my old Space Navigator works. Thanks to Win 11 policies on CPU support, I will not switch back.
