I'm having the same issue. Note to 3dconnexion: WE LOVE YOUR SPACE PILOT DEVICES. BUT IN ALL SOFTWARE THERE SHOULD BE AN OPTION TO NAVIGATE WITHOUT ROLL (i.e. Lock the horizon).
