Invoke AutoCAD Osnap Cursor Menu
I want to program a space navigator button to invoke the AutoCAD Osnap Cursor Menu. While using draw commands in AutoCAD, I would like to depress a Navigator button to select an osnap instead of using CTL+<right> to select an osnap. This string in the AutoCAD menu ($P0=SNAP $p0=*) will invoke the Os...

How many folks are having trouble with MDT and Space Nav?
MDT 2008 - Space Navigator worked starting out. Then Heidi driver started crashing when I touched the SN cap. I reinstalled both video driver and 3DConnexion software. Still crashed MDT 2008. Then, it started not crashing, suddenly. I can pan and zoom in MDT 2008, but not rotate when I have part sha...

AutoCAD pick box changes to Windows pointer...
Here's a good one: During my use of the AutoCAD trim command, my pick box changes to Windows arrow / pointer while panning and trimming objects. It is very annoying and counter productive to have to select the AutoCAD application title bar to bring the focus back to AutoCAD and to change the Windows...

3DConnexion replaced my faulty device. All is good. 3DConnexion and the Navigator rocks! If you have a USB hard drive or other USB devices attached to your machine, turn off the power until your Navigator loads, then power on those devices. USB is great, but Flakey. Some problems are hard to resolve...

Space Navigator Driver does not load - device is dead.
Support: Each time I uninstall and reinstall the software for my Navigator, it will work through a couple reboots. After that, the Driver will just not load. Did you ever get this issue resolved? I have disabled everything but the mouse and keyboard and still cannot get it to load. I just bought my ...

Re: It works, It doesn't work, It works.........
David, Did you ever get this issue resolved? I have the same issue. If you did resolve it, please let me know what the secret is: david.cox@shawinc.com. It "appears" 3DConnexion has not solved the problem, since I just bought my Navigator, and I am running the latest driver. I have tried e...
