Re: SpaceMouse Sketchup continues to move

Hi slbaumgartner, I also have this problem with driver versions 10.6.4 and 10.6.5. 10.6.3 is the last one that is stable for me. We fixed a couple of issues affecting navigation in SketchUp in the latest release, version 10.6.5. If you can, please go to the Extension Manager panel in SketchUp and c...

Re: SpaceMouse Sketchup continues to move

Yes, this happens with 10.6.5 and also on a completely new MacBookPro 16".

Space Navigator runs away in SketchUp

I am having repeated issues with my wired USB Space Navigator in SketchUp 2020 in my 16" MacBook Pro. When I start SketchUp the SN works fine. But after a while (unpredictable amount of time) the model will refuse to stop orbiting or zooming when I let go of the SN. It just keeps rotating and/or mov...

Re: SpaceMouse Sketchup continues to move

I also have this problem with driver versions 10.6.4 and 10.6.5. 10.6.3 is the last one that is stable for me. Same issue in both SketchUp 2019 and 2020: after navigating a model for a short while, the rotate and zoom take off on their own with no way to stop them, as if SketchUp is being flooded wi...

Driver 10.6.3 issue in SketchUp 2019

I installed the 10.6.3 driver after it came out in July (on macOS 10.4.6, mid-2012 15" MBP Retina, SketchUp 2019.2). Since then after a modest period of use (a minute maybe) the model enters into endless spin and zoom out, eventually disappearing. If I close or save the model after this starts happe...

Re: 3DConnexion Drivers for Mac OS Mojave

Come on, guys! It's now over a month since the release of macOS Mojave (not to mention months of public beta before that). They just released the first update to Mojave. You are pretty much creating a self-destroying attitude that will ensure you never have growth in you Mac customer base.

Re: Simple Sketchup Question (I think)

Sorry for the late post, I only just came across this topic. At heart of your problem is a misunderstanding of both how SketchUp works and how the SN integrates with SketchUp. Regarding the latter, the SN just moves the camera (it does not affect the cursor). The difference between "camera" and "obj...

Re: persistent memory leak in Sketchup

Bump. Another year, upgraded to macOS High Sierra 10.13.4 and SketchUp 2018 Pro, and no change in this memory leak. Why is 3DConnection ignoring this very annoying bug? There are lots of SketchUp users who own 3DConnection devices on Mac, yet this issue has persisted now for multiple years with no c...

Re: persistent memory leak in Sketchup

I just discovered that the memory leak seems to be associated with the blank initial model that SketchUp creates when it first opens. If I leave that model open, the memory usage steadily climbs until it causes system issues. But if I immediately close the initial model the memory stabilizes (within...
