Cheetah3D 4.2 adds native support for the SpaceNavigator. If you are interested to play around with your SpaceNavigator on the Mac please feel free and give it a try.

The SpaceNavigator works in both the 3D views and the UV editor.

Hi, thanks for your help. I finally got it working smoothly. But it turned out to be much more complicated then the SDK samples code and manual implied.
