Great, thank you!
But it still doesn't work perfectly.
Making the brush size smaller works, but to make it bigger, I need to press shift while turning the space navigator.
I have a Belgian keyboard.

Can you try again in 2D Wireframe mode? I get this when the mouse is over an object: before navigating (2D Wireframe): lines get thick during navigation (automatic switch to 3D Wireframe): lines become thin (!) after navigation (switches back to 2D Wireframe): lines are thick again after removing th...

[AutoCAD 2007] bug with Selection Preview Effect

AutoCAD 2007 has a "Selection Preview Effect": lines get thicker when you go over them with the mouse pointer. Bug: (1) make a block (2) move mouse pointer over block: lines become thicker (3) navigate with SpaceNavigator while mouse is over block (4) stop navigating (5) move mouse away fr...

It works well (without delay) when I choose for 3D wireframe in the AutoCAD settings (view>visual styles>wireframe). And since, for me, there are no drawbacks in the 3D wireframe setting, everything works fine now, for me.

I installed the new drivers, but it still doesn't work like it should. I think it works OK for people who draw only in 3D. But in 2D it is slow. Every time when I navigate, the screen turns black. With small dwg files, that is only for a very little time (1/10 sec?), but when working on large files,...

I have the latest 3Dconnexion driver. To check this: go to the control panel and choose "tools" > "update wizard...". I only made some small modifications (speed a bit higher, some axes reversed,...), but it should allready work without these modifications. If the (new) drivers a...

I also use ADT2007, ant it works OK (zooming, panning, spinning, ... everything). I only have this problem. But a solution is coming soon...

Re: AutoCAD regen issues

I would like to concur with the "regen" issue in AutoCAD. I use Civil3D and Map 3D 2007. I purchased the Space Navigator mostly so that I could do my 2D Pan/Zoom with the other hand, and leave the mouse for AutoCAD buttons and object selection. Looking at my screen, AutoCAD may not actual...

For me (Autodesk Architectural Desktop 2007) this is no solution. Autocad still switches from 2D wireframe view to 3D view when navigating: the background becomes grey and autocad regenerates before and after navigating.

I have the same problem: After navigation with the SpaceNavigator PE in Autodesk Architectural Desktop 2007, the selection is lost, because ADT2007 regenerates the drawing. Zooming with the SpaceNavigator should be the same as zooming with the mouse wheel. And panning should be the same as panning w...
