After trying the advice given here and elsewhere; I uninstalled 10.4.10 and installed 10.3.0.
Everything now works as it should.

Re: Driver not starting correctly
Hmmm...
Doesn't seem to be the problem. Both SolidWorks and 3DConnexion programs run without elevated permissions.

Driver not starting correctly
Good morning; I've got a Dell M6600 that I use with a SpaceNavigator and SolidWorks 2015. I recently installed SSD's, reinstalled windows 8.1, SW2015 and 3DxWare 10 for Windows (64-bit) [10.4.10]. Windows starts and the driver starts (the blue LEDs come on) but, the driver doesn't recognize when Sol...

Toggle Part Movement on Selection
I'm using a SpaceMouse Pro. I'd like to be able to turn the "Move part on selection" on and off from the programmable buttons.
Is this possible?

Part vs. View Portal Movement

Hmmm.. Is there a place where I can upload a copy of this video for all to see? It's 95MB (Windows Media Format). The joystick driver may work for flying the computer simulator but I'll still need to come up with something for interfacing directly with the RC transmitter. The Tx's (current) joystick...

Hi Jim; That's cool. It's good to hear that someone else shares my ambition. I've been flying airplanes since '76 and helis since '96 so I'm well versed in the problems of control reversal as orientation changes. Unfortunately, they're a fact of life unless you can come up with a way to sense orient...
