Same problem here with Vista Pro 64.

Try pushing 1,2 button in then plug the device into the usb and start driver.

So weird but it works

To be serious, the latest release seems very stable to me with a very very low frequency of autocheks. Cheers to the developers fao fixing that.

I'm having it back too with the latest driver for 3ds max but hadn't time yet to say it on that thread... I'd keep the ''suspend motion'' option (even if I do see any use of it : don't touch the device and the motion is suspended ;-)) because it may be useful to someone but as it seems hard to manag...

I dared and the 3.3.6 driver seems working well : smooth viewport navigation and no "suspend motion" auto-check until now.

Thanks, I forgot to say that I was using v3.2.2 (don't tell me anymore about v3.3.2, I'm a 3ds max user). I know that reinstalling works as this is my only solution to retreive the device back. But it only works for a few days and then, 3dxsrv.exe won't load anymore. As I have to work and stop spend...

You can reinstall v3.2.2 but you'll have to uninstall v3.3.2 before. I did this without problem. And never delete previous driver installer file before testing a new release ;-) Please 3DConnexion have the previous driver release available for download (there an archive item in the step 2 of driver ...

If only new drivers were tested before their release... At least, 3DConnexion doesn't sell cars...

Hi, Release 3. 2 .2 of the driver works smoother in 3ds max 9 but be warned that the "suspend motion" checkbox autocheks from time to time and you'll have to uncheck it a lot of times to have it stay unchecked or to restart max (this has been discussed there: http://www.3dconnexion.com/for...

As the fixed driver is not released yet, there should be a warning on the download page for 3ds max user telling us not to update if using v3.2.2 (lucky me, I kept the installer).

I'll wait and see.

It's much more slower than the 3.2.2 release... The native 3ds max viewport navigation (alt + middle mouse button) rotates the scene quicker. While using SpaceNavigator, the 8 bottom right 3ds max icons (the ones dedicated to viewport management) blinks a lot and I suppose that this is why it slows ...
