Re: 3DxWare 10 bug in Zoom Direction for 3ds max
- 3ds max 2013. But it doesn't matter which version is. The same behaviour is alsoo seen in latest 3ds max 2016 - I have the latest 10.2.3 driver installed - in "Advanced Settings" I have the "Target Camera Mode" active with lock horizon. Also, don't forget about bug with Up / Do...

Re: 3DxWare 10 bug in Zoom Direction for 3ds max
MORE OVER looks like Up/Down for Zoom Direction is broken for other applications. I just find out that if you have Up/Down enabled for Zoom Direction in Photoshop you will never be able to use cap rotation to change the brush size, while if you have Forward/Backward for Zoom Direction then the brush...

3DxWare 10 bug in Zoom Direction for 3ds max
Just to understand the bug, enable Forward/Backward for Zoom Direction, then create a box in 3ds max and look at it in perspective viewport at 45 degrees above the horizon. Start rotate clockwise with cap. Then look at the box in perspective viewport at 45 degrees below the horizon. Start rotate clo...

2d pan zoom mode in 3ds max. Why is it ignored for so long?
2d pan zoom mode was introduced in 3ds max 2014. When this mode is on, I intuitively expext my 3d mouse behave like in photoshop. But it is still navigate the scene and ruin my match if I used a 3d mouse. Moreover I can't undo this operation!!!. What is the sense of it, if 2d pan zoom mode was desig...

Re: My space navigator is slowing down 3ds MAX
as it was told by Autodesk the problem is that 3dconnexoin searching center of rotation is software based not hardware as I understood and switching "Autocenter" off helps on complex scenes.

Re: In 3ds Max I can't select or snap objects when using 3dm
Hi, UtaSH. The calibration didn't help. The model in preview stands still when mouse is not touched. The easiest way to reproduce this in may case is to start rotating in perspective view around two created boxes with cap and try to select one of the boxes with standard mouse during rotation. At som...

In 3ds Max I can't select or snap objects when using 3dmouse
I can't understand the reasons why it happens, but very very often after navigating viewport in 3ds Max with space mouse wireless I can't select objects/subobjects or snap selection to smth untill I do some navigation with mouse (for example pan a little with MMB). This behavior is unexpected and ma...

3ds max's Ctrl+MMB for Mudbox
The behavior of Mudbox's camera is not good for using with 3dconnexion device (or the way it is implemented) What I mean is there are only two ways to rotate camera around object or around specified point with 3dconnexion device. The first one is to focus slection and then rotate the cap. The second...

3ds max rotation problem when view is parallel to horizon
Hi, I'm using SpaceMouse Wireless. So I've noticed that when my view is parallel to horizon or close to it the rotation slows down significantly and from time to time change orientation (Lock Horizon is on) . At any other angles it works just fine. It makes this device almost useless when navigating...
