This is a carpc so i don't have powered usb. But does the spacenavigator use more than 500mA?

Yes im running a others usb devices with no problem, usb-memory, gps receiver and touch screen. I have also tried running the spacenavigator alone but it didn't help. There is no way to test if its my usb on my computer that is running at the edge of specifications? I dont want to send back the spac...

Im having problem with my space navigator. It will only start 2/5 of times. When it happens i have to unplug it and plug it in and start the drivers manual. Whats wrong with my hardware?
