At this time, we are supporting only the SpaceNavigator product on Mac OS X. Ziva Nissan 3Dconnexion, Inc. WHAT! You haven't written drivers for the Mac for your FLAGSHIP product. I spent nearly $400 on this thing and I can only use it for Windows? Seems to me since you've got the bones of the othe...

It is now Q2 2007, where is the support for Mac OS X? Are you still working on it, will it work for the SpacePilot, when can we have it? I would really like to use my SpacePilot for eDrawings on the Mac (for presentations), Google Earth, Sketchup for the Mac, web browsing (specifically Mozilla Firef...

I'm just using the "switch user" function. I go to Start, click log-out, select switch user and then login to another account. My original account remains logged in but I'm now using another account. I did figure out that the SpaceBall will work in another account as long as I do a complet...

Here is another question... Why doesn't the SpaceBall work when I switch to another user in XP? If I have the SB working on my login and switch to my wife's login (who is an administrator), or my kids (not admin) the SB won't work. Do I have to log-out in order for the driver to detect the device on...

Thanks Fred. I suspected the SpaceBall was too old to be useful for those things. Oh-well, my kids think it's a toy and it's fun for them. On the issue of the install, the link you posted is for Microsoft Windows 2000. That's a far jump from XP sp2. Have you actually experienced this problem and fix...

Thank you for your reply. Yes I am an administrator, so not a problem there. I did what you suggested last night (I used WinRAR to extract the files) and got the 3DxWare installed manually. However, I was hoping to use the full installer for future driver upgrades, so I manually updated the InstallS...

This solution doesn't help me at all. I'm having the same problem with a DESKTOP computer, consequently I cannot undock. Again, I'm having EXACTLY the same problem. The stupid driver asks me to restart EVERY time! I've tried everything I can, including ALL the tips and suggestions located in this fo...
