Good starting place. Before we dig deeper, can this run on a non-microsoft platform? We are doing an implementation with a 32 bit Microchip processor. We already support the SpaceMouse Pro and SpaceNavigator on this platform.

How difficult is it to write custom messages and status to the SpacePilotPro LCD? This will be in conjunction with an embedded control system.

We recently did an embedded application using a Microchip PIC32 which serves as the USB host. Got it working in an afternoon and talking to the SpaceNavigator. Hi Oppie , I believe not but I can confirm. Which device type? SpaceNavigator? Yes, the Space Navigator, at least initially. blue leds individually controllable?

Is it possble to switch the blue LEDs on and off independantly of one another? I had in mind a "follow-me" or mode indication application.
