Re: SpacePilot Probelm continuous rotation
My cap has been dead for years, and I'm actually on my second unit after I RMA'd the first one (I keep it around because of the buttons/macros). The continuous rotation came first (constant cap output) off and on, and re-calibrating via the application would cause the cap to stop responding entirely...

Re: Nitro Pro 10
I use Nitro, and personally I only have "Rotation" checked in the forward/backward (4th axis down) direction. When my cap is working, Nitro behaves just fine.

Re: SpacePilot Pro how to adjust deadzone
Yeah, as you found out "Global.xml" is the right one. I don't know why they keep telling people the wrong filename. I adjusted the global deadzone on my SPP last week and while the device reports the same value regardless, certain applications are more sensitive than others. I set mine to ...

Re: Insert pause function for custom macros in 3dxWare 10
Is there any plan to re-introduce all the functionality you've removed from the GUI, or are you really pushing us towards not using the GUI at all and just using a text editor to program advanced profiles?

Re: Assign keystroke to axis not possible anymore???
I made sure to keep the old installers once I realized functionality was being removed. My cap hasn't worked reliably in years (can't tell if it's hardware or interference with background crap mandated by our IT), so I just use the current drivers. The versions I have sitting here are: x64 SPP v10.0...

Re: HID and 3Dconnexion
I've got an EXE that jwick gave me a couple years ago when I was trying to debug problems with my SPP (they ultimately never got it sorted so my cap doesn't work, but at least back then they were sort of trying). Shows which device thread the data's being sent over and the bytes. Could be some help....

Re: Recognizing Mathcad
The current drivers still let you have profiles for all of those, it's supposed to detect the running application and create a new blank profile which you can edit it you want (I have working profiles for Word, Excel, Firefox, etc for my SPP). Yes, you can't explicitly add the program anymore becaus...

Re: Recognizing Mathcad
Um, Mathcad isn't a 3D application, why would PTC add 3D device support? It's not detecting the application switch, which with the latest drivers would know that you've opened Notepad let alone Mathcad.
