Jwik, Point taken, it is once again a conflict between hardware vs software. I have used PTC products for 15 years now and SW products for 3 years; it's worth mentioning that none of my previous grips with WF2 and 64 bit (SpaceExplorer & PDM compatability) can be made with 2006 & 2007 releas...

Hi agoenczi,

I have been really busy so have only now had a chance to try your latest suggestion ....... it did not work!

I am glad to see that i am not the only person who is having this problem.

Failure 1. Use a 64 bit machine, windows XP pro, driver 3.1.8. This should mean that you have the pull down menu in WF2, short cut buttons ..... but no manipulation on screen. Failure 2. Use a 64 bit machine, windows XP pro, driver 3.0.9. This should mean that you can manipulate the model on screen ...

Dear agoenczi, I have tried everyting now. You last advice sounds like you are 'clutching at straws' and short on answers (no offence). Probably not surprising as 64 bit has not been around for long. I will have to spend yet more time now converting this back to the previous driver, which did work o...

I have just gone back to my ProE screen and noticed that for the first time i now have the 3dxProengineer pull down menu .... but still can't move the model on screen. Thinking about this, the only problem i had was when i tried to complete the automated registration web page that pops up; i couldn'...

I am using WF2 on a new 64-bit machine and my new SpaceExplorer (which i love by the way) works, but when i boot the CAD software it informs me that the ProE driver is not installed ....... up shot is that i can not set any of my buttons. The SpaceExplorer works, but no button configuration. I know ...
