3Dconnexion SpaceNavigator Now Supports Mac OS X Leopard

San Jose, Calif. – Nov. 13, 2007 – 3Dconnexion, a Logitech company, today announced that 3Dconnexion’s SpaceNavigator 3D mouse now supports Leopard – Mac OS® X 10.5. Continuing a commitment to cross-platform support, 3Dconnexion’s SpaceNavigator 3D mouse allows Leopard users to enjoy effortless movement and precise control within the 3D workspace of several applications, including Autodesk® Maya®, Adobe® Photoshop® CS3 Extended, Google Earth™, Graphisoft ArchiCAD® 11, Adobe Acrobat® Reader, QuickTime® VR, and Ovolab® Geophoto.

By gently pushing, pulling, tilting or sliding the SpaceNavigator’s pressure-sensitive controller cap, a 3D designer can simultaneously maneuver 3D objects or move within 3D scenes using six degrees of freedom. By varying the amount of pressure on the cap, people can easily accelerate or decelerate actions with exact precision.
