Do more with your models

3Dconnexion and SketchUp is a match made in heaven. SketchUp allows professional and personal users to create sophisticated 3D models. You can model almost anything – buildings, appliances, cars, landscape, and even people. Using a 3D mouse engages both hands in a balanced and cooperative work style. One hand engages the 3D mouse to position the model or navigate the environment while your other hand simultaneously uses the traditional mouse to select, create or edit.

It’s a two handed work style where you click a lot less and accomplish a lot more.

Why SketchUp users rely on 3Dconnexion 3D mice

  1. Increase Productivity by more than 20%*1: When working with one hand, you can either navigate your model or select commands. With a 3D mouse you can do both at once saving you valuable time.
  2. Enhanced Comfort: Up to 50% fewer mouse clicks*2 by spreading the workload across both hands.
  3. Design Performance*1: Whether you’re working on a sketch or a complex 3D model, the superior navigation experience encourages levels of model exploration that are crucial to avoiding frustrating and costly design errors.

Using SketchUp models in Google Earth

People everywhere are helping to create rich 3D environments within Google Earth. You can select a site in Google Earth, design a 3D building and preview it in Google Earth in just minutes. Yet, if you wish, you can also contribute one of you models to the 3D Warehouse where you can search, share and download 3D models that can be used in Google Earth.

Walk This Way

A 3Dconnexion 3D mouse makes walking through your model as smooth as watching a movie or playing a video game. Select camera mode to visualize your architecture - moving yourself around and through your design with ease.
