Hi,
I have a Windows 8.1 Professional Virtual Machine on a Windows 2012 server with Hyper-V.
RemoteFX is properly installed on the server. Other USB ports are forwarded to the Windows 8.1 Professional Virtual Machine and works correctly.
"SpacePilot PRO" is visible in the RDP-client 'Local Devices and resources' and checked.
3Dconnexion software version 3_17_6_r1586 is installed on the VM.
However, I get the message "Could not locate an installed 3Dconnexion device." when I try test the SpacePilot PRO on the VM.
Does 3Dconnexion support Windows 2012 RemoteFX?
Thanks

Hello FesRed,
stop the driver on the server machine and reconnect the device to the USB port. Check if the device is redirected now. Let me know your findings.

Re: Windows 2012/Windows 8.1/RemoteFX - RDP
Thanks for your response Uta.
Before I saw your response I have purchased and installed "Incentives Pro" "USB Redirector RDP Edition".
It solved my problem, it works beautifully.
I will try your suggestion on another machine at a later stage.
From your response I presume then USB redirection over RDP using RemoteFX should work, right?
Thanks
Festus

Hi Festus,
this is not something we have tested and therefore we do not officially support it. But we are using Hyper-V sometimes so I assumed it should work.
