Maya 2024

Hi,

I was wondering if anybody could help me with getting my spacemosue to work in maya 2024? I got the driver and it works fine on other apps like zbrush and blender and fusion 360, but cant seem to make it work. Assumuming theres a plugin that i need to apply? Would be highly appreciated if anybody could help me with this. Thank you.

apparently no plugin is installed for Maya 2024 on mac, at least I could not find anything on the list of available plugins. Can confirm that it works fine with Zbrush and SubstancePainter (3dWare for macos 10.8.2). No issues observed with Maya 2024 on Windows!

Is someone aware if there is no plugin available yet or if it's just not properly installed for some reason, or is there already a discussion about this topic and somehow I missed it?

Maya 2024 does not work for me either with MacOS 14.2 with the latest 3Dconnexion drivers. Please let us know if there are any workarounds or if a new driver will be available soon to address.

I just got an email from 3dconnecion tech support to see if this had been addressed, and as of Dec 4, 2023, it has NOT!!
I am actually very surprised that it is taking MONTHS to get this done. Here is what they wrote me:
"Currently, Maya 2024 on macOS does not have SpaceMouse input support.
As it turns out, there is a ticket in our system to develop integration for the SpaceMouse into Maya 2024 ( and above ) but I do not have a time frame. This time frame also involves collaboration with Autodesk as well. "

I ran across your post as I was looking for Maya 2024 support. I've just updated to Maya 2024, and updated to the latest version of the 3DxWare 10 (10.8.2 for Mac) and there still is no 3Dconnexion plugin installed for Maya 2024. I've reached out to 3Dconnexion Support to inquire on the progress of a plugin for Maya 2024.
