software won't install

Starting today, I am using a new computer, and when I try to install the software and driver for my space pilot pro, I get the following error:

Error Code: -5004 : 0x80070005
Error Information:

The error [5004 : 0x80070005] happens when the installer does not find sufficient privileges to install the software. The sub-code 0x80070005 indicates 'Access is denied'.

The 3Dconnexion software needs to be installed installed from a profile with full administrator privileges.The installation needs to be able to write to the Windows registry.

If this is a networked PC and you do not have full permissions,an IT person would need to do the installation. If it is a home PC, you need to log in from an administrator profile to run the installation.
