Luxology modo 501

We have created a profile for modo 501.

It requires 3DxWare 10 beta 10. It uses 2D mouse emulation for movement. Your cursor will move, but it will spring back to the point it started at, when you are done using the 3D mouse.

now that ive had some time to play around with my space mouse in modo ive noticed that a few things.

It seems real jumpy, going from different rotation/directions.

if i push forward to zoom in i can only go forward, i cant spin while moving forward or im unable to move up while going forward as well.

My experiences with the Modo profile are similar to odoM's. Quite jumpy and generally not as smooth as what you'd expect in Solidworks... definetly on the right track though.
My main problem was that i found the 3DxWare 10 beta 10 wreaked havoc with my solidworks presets. So i had to revert back to the regular Win7 drivers.

Would be great to have the 3DxWare 10 Beta for Mac updated to work with this modo profile. I could then test the Modo profile in isolation from my windows system which runs Solidworks. I'm running SW in Win7 on my Mac pro via Parallels.

Luxology has released Modo 601 with full 3D Mouse support.
It is natively integrated into Modo and works extremely well.
You no longer need to make a keyboard-based profile.
