Mapping Keystrokes to axes

Hi!

I want to use my Spacepilot together with Inkscape on Ubuntu. For this i like to map Buttons to the Axis (for scrolling and zooming). Is there a way to do it in the config file?

Something like this:

MOTION_MAP_1_POS_DFLT = { USER_DEF_46 }

where user_def_46 is like this:

{ USER_DEF_46, "test", "<F1>" },

Is it possible to map a key to an axis?!?

no sorry. This possibility is not available. You can not map a keystroke to an axis.
