Spin, Roll function are doing same thing

Postby davidsun » Wed Apr 10, 2013 1:16 am

Hi there,

I just tested my Spacemouse pro on inventor, autocad, showcase, navisworks and dwf viewer after the arrival yesterday. I am generally happy with the mouse on inventor, and dwf viewer also I have to point out Astroid space ball works much smoother in inventor.

The problem I have noticed is that in autocad, navisworks and showcase environment, Spin and Roll are rotating around Z axis, Spin doesn' rotate around Y axis but Z.

Am I missing something here in mouse setting up?

Cheers,
David

Dear davidsum,

We have two zoom settings in the 3dconnexion Control Panel that you may experiment with. One will have settings that seem correct if you are viewing your model in a frontal view and the other if you are viewing your model in a top view.

Start
All Programs
3Dconnexion
3Dconnexion Control Panel
Device Configuration Tab.

Sincerely,
Bryan g.

Hi Bryan,

thanks for your reply.
the problem has been resloved by untick the KEEP SENSE UPRIGHT box in 3Dconnexion Setting command in Navisworks, Showcase and Autocad.

regards,
david
