Assigning keystrokes to the Spacenavigator

Post by pseudomass »

Hi, I purchased the SpaceNavigator PE (SN) for use in Second Life a year or so ago. Since I rarely go to SL now, I put the SN away for a bit.

I'm going to start a MMO called Aion soon. This MMO includes flying like SL and I'd like to break out the SN for use in that game.

How do I assign keystrokes to the SN? I readily found how to map the two buttons but not the knobs movement.

For example:
Pan Forward = w
Pan Backward = s
Pan left - q
Pan right = e
Pan up = r (for increasing altitude in flying)
Pan down = f (for decreasing altitude in flying)

Rotate knob clockwise = d
Rotate knob counterclockwise = a

Left button = page up (wings on)
Right button = page down (wings off)

and so on....

Very simple!

How do I do that?

Thank you in advance!

Hi pseudomass,

at this moment there is no possibility to map a keystroke to one of the axis.
