In SW2009 SP4, Latest drivers for SpacePilot, often a custom function will go away and the device will reset to the default. Is there a trick to keeping my custom functions?
thanks

Where are you mapping your button commands from?
Use the 3DControl button mapping editor in SW to map buttons.
Also remember to map for each mode
Some functions only work in certain modes.
If you need to create a custom function
try creating a macro in SW and map it to a button key.
Next close out of SW. Open the 3DControl panel and create a macro
Map the keyboard command and save
Next reopen SW and i believe it saves under the 3Dxware function Hammer you then drag it to the button of your choice.

I just go into 3dconnexion control panel button confi. when booted up today most everything that I set yesterday was gone.
i have not been using save as? maybe that is the problem?
what is this about having to shut down the CAD application and restart it? I dont get why should have to go out of it to have the device remember?
I am not sure if you guys can do it with your devices, but X-Keys devices have thier own memory which I love, you can move it to another PC and all all the keys work as set..
