Spacepilot Use with VNC

Post by marine_man »

Is it possible to run a spacepilot on Pro/E (64 bit if it makes a difference) through VNC?

The scenario is I'll be working from a remote location and will VNC to a workstation running Pro/E. Is it possible to manipulate the Pro E model using a spacepilot from a remote location using VNC?

Thanks!

Hi marine_man,

I have not tested VNC with our devices yet. But perhaps something like USB Over Ethernet or Hewlett Packard RGS is what you are looking for. HP RGS is certified for our devices.

Try Eltima USB Network Gate. They provide USB redirection services for 3D mice, too. Really simple to work in RDP - http://www.eltima.com/3d-mouse-over-rdp.html
