The brush size adjustment feature in the driver requires that the keyboard layout you're using match the language Photoshop uses. For instance, an English version of Photoshop should be used with an English keyboard.

An update on this issue. Starting with 3DxSoftware v3.5.6, it's now possible to mix the language Photoshop is localized to and your keyboard layout. For example, your Photoshop could be German while the keyboard is English.
