Didn't like hand rest aligned do forward axis

I've upgraded from a space navigator to a space pilot, but it's not being comfortable. I feel like the ***** design seems more adequate to how I used to use space navigator. I use mostly camera navigation mode for architectural visualization, and feels that my thumb should be near the back. Maybe it would be better to drop the ambidextrous design. Or maybe to make orientation programmable after designing better spots for buttons. Application support is super for 3dconnexion. Keep it up.
