Spacenavigator and OIS (Ogre3D)

I've spent about a weekend hacking together some changes to OIS (http://www.wreckedgames.com/forum/index.php?board=6.0)
The only problems now are:

LED support, don't really know how to do it in OIS (nothing really related to this forum

Code, I'm a crappy coder and need some people to look at the code and possibly make it work on other platforms then linux.

Anyway, if you feel offended about me writing this here i blame it on a not working forum at wrecked games. If anyone want the code I will be happy to share what i've done.

I feel i should probably say that i dont use the 3dconnexion driver but the excellent hid-interface so that OIS actually think of the spacenavigator as a joystick

Hi,
I'm trying to connect my SpacePilot Pro, which on Mac OS X 10.6.4, works with the SpaceNavigator feature subset (i.e. 6DOF + 2 buttons only), to OIS and OGRE3D.

I was able to successfully patch OIS-1.2.0 with the patches supplied here:

and it built and compiled successfully. I also rebuild OGRE-1.7.1 once again, and re-installed all the built files.

However, I am unable to get the OGRE sample browser to respond to inputs from the SpacePilot.

I've managed to get the SpacePilot Pro working with OIS-1.2.0. The patches are available here:

I'll now need to look at getting OGRE-1.7.1 to work with it.
