Hi
I had installed 3dWare v10.4.10 and intended to try v.10.5.5 but when the old version was uninstalled and the machine restarted, it hung on the shutdown screen and after a few minutes I turned it off. On restart I was unable to either install the old or new versions - receiving a 1604 error code.
Reading thru similar problems it seems this is a permission issue I followed the instructions for running with logging enabled and read thru the log files but cant see how to fix it.
The first error seems to be -
DIFXAPP: INFO: Could not open file C:\WINDOWS\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\3dxkmj.inf_amd64_103329fde07fdfbd\3dxkmj.inf. (Error code 0x3: The system cannot find the path specified.)
Could someone who understands these things be able to help with instructions of what I should do next?

Sorry thought I had attached a zip of the log files.
I have followed the link you gave and submitted support request but couldn't see how to attach files to that request. Tried again to add it here.

SUbmitted support request on Monday - other than the 'received' email had no reply.

Fixed by reinstalling Windows using Windows Refresh and then installing 10.4 driver
